Teacher Surprises Class By Giving Anatomy Lesson Dressed In Full-Body Anatomical Suit

Imagine yourself as a teacher who has been teaching the same subject for the past fifteen years – it can get pretty monotonous. That’s why 43-year-old teacher Verónica Duque decided to change things up a little. Instead of teaching a regular anatomy lesson where all the students look at illustrations inside a book, she turned herself into a real-life illustration by dressing up in a full-body anatomical suit.

In an interview with Bored Panda, Verónica said she has been teaching natural and social science, art, English, and Spanish for the past 15 years. She says she found the suit when an AliExpress ad popped up while she was surfing the web. “Knowing how hard it is for kids this young to visualize the disposition of internal organs, I thought it was worth it giving it a try,” said the teacher.

Verónic’s husband Michael tweeted photos from the lesson and they instantly went viral, gathering over 60k likes in just a few days. But the teacher’s creativity doesn’t stop there. “I decided long ago to use disguises for history lessons,” said Verónica. “I’m also using cardboard crowns for my students to learn grammatical categories such as nouns, adjectives, and verbs. Different grammar kingdoms, so to say.”

Verónica says she would like society to stop considering teachers to be lazy bureaucratic public servants. “We’re certainly not,” says the teacher.
