Salutations! My name is Mark Harless but most people know me as Bleeblu. I’m a photographer who takes intimate portraits of young female models. I bought my first camera four years ago to help myself cope with a breakup. It was only meant to help to occupy my mind, meet new people and share my photographs with close friends. But as my exposure grew, I began to take it more and more seriously.
I’ve always kept to myself, had a small circle of friends and only embraced the safe and familiar. I love photography because it has enabled me to step outside my comfort zone. I’ve adventured to beautiful places I probably wouldn’t have ever experienced, made friends with wonderful people I probably wouldn’t have ever met, and all that while capturing images that are enjoyed by tens of thousands of people.
In the past year, I’ve gathered over 100k followers on Instagram, traveled around the U.S. and Canada, and even wrote a best-selling book on portrait photography! I’ve also been able to quit my part-time job and pursue my passion to it’s fullest! The following images are some of my favorites that I’ve taken in the past year.
