Imlil Valley is located in the Atlas Mountains , Kingdom of Morocco. On of the Berber villages along the way is also called Imlil and it lays about 1700 meters above sea level thus making it the center of the mountain tourism in Morocco. (usually to climb mt. Toubkal, the highest mountain in the country), the berber villages of Imlil Valley relies mainly on terraced agriculture, the brownish Berber villages make a harsh and beautiful contrast to the green terraces – as can be seen on the photos below.
