The City of Buenos Aires, and Buenos Aires, is the capital of Argentina, since 1880.
It has an estimated population (2010 Census) of 2,891,082 residents in the city and about 12,801,364 inhabitants in the urban area, the Gran Buenos Aires. This will become the biggest urban conglomeration Argentina, the second largest South American level and one of the 20 most populous cities worldwide. Today the city of Buenos Aires is the most visited city in Latin America for international tourism. It is next to the cities of Sao Paolo and Mexico City DF one of the three Latin American cities Category Alpha.
