For nearly six months, this little puppy could be seen wandering around the building where he once lived. His owners, who had grown too old and sick to care for themselves, had been moved to a senior care center—and sadly, they were unable to bring their dog with them. Unaware of why they were gone, the puppy waited for his beloved owners day and night.
Neighbors noticed the lonely puppy and some kindly offered him food. But the most heartwarming moment was captured by a resident who saw a stray kitten approach the sad dog and offer comfort. The tiny kitten gently wrapped her paws around him, as if to say, “Don’t worry—someone will take care of you!”
The resident explained that the dog is familiar with humans rather than cat. When people pass by, the dog tries to check everyone’s face, while the cat runs away from them.
After six months of seeing the cat and puppy still together, the neighbors decided to build them a small house. But the pair, accustomed to sleeping on the stairs, preferred to stay there—snuggled up together for warmth.
