The preparations often start in the early morning and the celebration lasts the whole night – and during all this time, the bride’s makeup has to stay perfect. Arber takes before-and-after pictures of the brides-to-be to show just how much makeup can change the way a person looks.

Even though Arber has amassed over 300k followers on Instagram, some people are saying his style makes the brides look pretty similar, removing the uniqueness of each woman. However, you can’t argue with the fact that all of them end up looking stunning after the makeup artist applies his magic touch.

In an interview with votreART, Arber said he got interested in makeup when he was just a child. He used to take his mother’s makeup and play with it when he was just five and knew he’d become a makeup artist one day.

“When I finished high school, my family didn’t want me to continue my studies in the beauty industry because in our culture it’s considered tabu if a male works in this industry,” said the makeup artist. “So, at first, I got a master’s degree in economics and only then did I follow my dream and started working as a makeup artist.”

When meeting his clients, Arber’s first question is what kind of occasion are they getting their makeup done for. He also asks them if they have any specific requests like a more natural or dramatic look. He then asks the brides to show the dress they’re going to wear. “The design of the dress and its details reveal the style of the look the client is going for,” says the makeup artisy. “Then, I analyze their facial features.”

Arber is a highly sought-after makeup artist, doing as many as 60 makeups per day during the summer season. Better book yours in advance!

“Makeup is like jewelry for the face. Play with colors and shapes. Don’t be afraid to transform yourself. At the end of the day, you can just clean it,” advised Arber to beginning makeup artists.
